TRAINING TO BE A TRANSFORMATION FACILITATOR

OUR WORLD IS IN TRANSITION. THE KEY QUESTIONS ARE: CAN WE CREATE THIS TOGETHER? ARE WE USING THE TRANSFORMATION OR IS IT OVERWHELMING US?

Our facilitation training for transformation guidance, which is an extended coaching training, creates a unique learning and experience space for those who want to learn transformation competence or are active in agile systems. Leaders, coaches, and anyone interested in deep change processes gain the necessary knowledge to deal with complex transformation dynamics.

Many people feel the pressure of transformation and its effects. Acceleration and increasing complexity of global reality demand a radical new dimension of perception and action from us. For different phases of transformation we need a new kind of navigation. This includes our personal orientation as well as agile leadership in teams for sustainable change in environment and organizations.

In the process, we inevitably encounter internal and external resistance, which we often experience as personal challenges and conflicts. Which attitudes and tools support us in this process?

Our one-year transformational leadership training offers participants a comprehensive experience in three successive levels with a total of nine modules covering the manifold facets of transformation. In the first stage, personal experience references of transformation are formed on the basis of the eight IFTL transformation thresholds. The second stage offers the participants the opportunity to relate their subjective experience to transformative project work – with a special focus on relationship dynamics. The third stage professionalises the accompaniment of transformation processes in teams, organizations and society. This structure reflects the principle: What has not been worked on inside cannot be accompanied or supported outside.

The IFTL grammar: thresholds of transformation

The eight thresholds of transformation were developed and evaluated at IFTL by Dr. Felix Hoch and Iris von Tiedemann on the basis of previous trainings and described in the book “Thresholds of Transformation” (2022). The Transformational Grammar encompasses the archetypal principles of change that continue to find expression in new forms in our contemporary times as well as in different cultural contexts. The IFTL Transformational Grammar serves as a compass for navigating complex transformational dynamics and, along with the process-oriented approach, is at the heart of IFTL education.

After completing all levels, the participants are officially certified as transformation facilitators by the Institute for Transformational Leadership and as coaches according to the guidelines of the ECA (European Coaching Association).

Training certificate as a coach & transformation facilitator

After completing all training levels, participants have the opportunity to be certified as transformational facilitators by the IFTL in a subsequent test. The certificate complies with the guidelines of the Institute for Transformational Leadership. Graduates are then also entitled to receive an official ECA certificate from the ECA (European Coaching Association) and to be registered in the ECA database.

LEVEL 1 – TRANSFORMATION LAB

This stage is a transformation laboratory in the sense of an experimental space. The participants are made familiar with the thresholds of transformation that open the phases of change. The aim is to establish a profound transformation as an internal reference experience. With this new qualitative resource, the participants can tackle challenges in a differentiated and sustainable manner. The eight transformation phases and the thresholds to be taken are precisely conveyed as well-founded IFTL transformation grammar. We pay attention to a high degree of practical orientation and multifaceted testing on our own coaching topics.

LEVEL 2 – TRANSFORMATION WORKSHOP

The second stage is a transformation workshop in which the participants develop a sustainable leadership attitude towards their projects and learn to continually adapt them to new realities. With the personal reference experience from the first stage, your own project is realigned and qualitatively designed. Everyone develops the ability to powerfully implement upcoming transformation projects in organizations, teams and relationships with all facets. Innovative tools, supervision and peer coaching are available for this. At the end of this stage, all participants are aware of their project responsibility and thus their roles as leaders.

LEVEL 3 – TRANSFORMATION FIELDS

In the third stage, we approach the invisible dynamics of transformation fields. These show up in field and system dynamics, interactions and emerging conflicts and tensions. The participants learn the ability to work professionally as transformation guides and to prepare for future tasks as facilitators. The focus here is on the development of fine perception and the required attitude in order to be able to accompany transformation processes carefully and precisely. The participants are trained in the design and application of interventions that enable transformation thresholds to be overcome. Everyone develops a deep understanding of their own individual style of accompanying transformation in the world.

For certification, five teaching coaching sessions with a teaching coach are required or have to be proven.

ACCOMPANYING TYPOLOGICAL ADVICE

Knowledge and awareness of one’s own individual characteristics, dispositions and preferences for action are elementary for open, authentic and appreciative communication as well as for mutual understanding with regard to differences and similarities. We offer three typological analyzes:

The Jung’s preference analysis (Golden Profiler of Personality – MBTI) provides information about our preferences and unconscious reaction patterns.

The type analysis (Enneagram) provides information about character imprints and the basic motivations of one’s own self.

The force field analysis (64Keys) provides information about our potential fields of action and resonances with people and contexts.
